The signs are extremely convincing that the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ is very near at hand. His purpose in returning to the earth as the super-powerful King of Kings is to bring real peace to the earth and to rule the whole earth according to God's will for the final 1000 years.

Unfortunately, Jesus's return is preceded by a horrific 7-year period on the earth called the Tribulation. This period will see the emergence of the ultimate evil world dictator, a man known as the Antichrist (666). He will rise to power and reign over the whole world during the 7 years. He will be assisted by a "wolf-in-sheep's-clothing" religious leader known as the False Prophet. During this time, God's Wrath will be poured out on the earth and billions of people will die. The Antichrist and his army and the False Prophet will be defeated quickly by the super-powerful Jesus at his 2nd Coming at the one-sided Battle of Armageddon.

The Bible describes a specific instantaneous event known as the Rapture, where Jesus returns nearby to the earth and extracts from the earth all those people who are true believers, to be with him forever. This event occurs sometime within or near the timeframe of the Tribulation and the 2nd Coming.

(Note: At the Rapture: Jesus will come to the earth to a place in the sky and he will bring with him from heaven the spirits of all true believers who have died, and they will be united in the sky with their new immortal bodies. Then, all true believers who are alive on earth at that time will be translated into their new immortal bodies, and both groups will be caught away from the earth to heaven.)

When generally does the Rapture occur:
(a) before the Tribulation (Pre-Trib)?
(b) during the Tribulation (Mid-Trib or Pre-Wrath)?
(c) at the 2nd Coming (Post-Trib)?

The answer to this question is very important to Christians, since a Pre-Trib Rapture means that Christians will escape the earth prior to the horrific 7-year Tribulation period and not have to endure the reign of the abominable Antichrist.

The purpose of this website is to discover if a Pre-Trib Rapture is the most probable answer to this question.

1Th 4:13-18 "13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words."

1Cor 15:52-53 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

John 14:2-3 "In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."

Phil 3:20 “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”
